Girisha's Home on the WWW

My name is Girisha Durrel De Silva. I was born in Kandy, a picturesque city located in the central province of Sri Lanka. Most of my childhood revolved around the Kandy city and Peradeniya a serene suburban area of the Kandy city.

I attended Dharmaraja College for my primary and secondary education and subsequently moved to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. I completed my tertiary education at the School of Computing in the University of Colombo. After obtaining my bachelor's degree from the University of Colombo, I moved to Singapore to attend grad school at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. Upon completing my PhD studies I moved to working in the computing industry.
